My daughter is interested in atheism. She is 13 years old and I would like to point her towards some information to help her understand atheism and agnosticism . A quick search of my local library and the internet did not yield any results. I would appreciate any links or book reccomendations. Thanks.

    Send her to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method

I hate titles, especially when it comes to non-belief. I'm also afraid that many people look to Atheism as some sort of group instead of seeing it as just a statement.

I think it depends on how you use the title, really. In a sense, most of the world uses titles by default, so it's nice to know where you would fit according to the average view. Also, in so much as it can be a bad thing to form a group for a matter, it can get a lot of good done, as well. It's because of the titles that so many groups and organizations have sprung up for Atheists and Agnostics that both discuss the matter and try and make progress in getting our non-belief accepted. I do agree that titles can lead to a lot of bad things such as name calling and discrimination, though.
